This multi-layer waterproof roofing system consists of eight elements, each of which plays a key role in ensuring reliable roof protection. The basis is a reinforced concrete slab, which serves as a solid foundation for all subsequent layers. The first waterproofing layer applied is Universal Bitumen Primer No. 1, which improves material adhesion and prepares the surface for the application of ROOFIZOL EPP rolled waterproofing. This layer provides primary moisture protection. Next is the thermal insulation layer, which protects the structure from temperature changes and reduces heat loss. A slope-forming layer of expanded clay is used to create a slope and ensure proper water drainage. Next comes the leveling screed, which creates an even and stable surface for further work. Then, bituminous roofing mastic is applied, which serves as an additional barrier against moisture, enhancing the overall waterproofing. The final layer is ROOFIZOL EKP or ROOFIZOL EFP roll waterproofing, which provides ultimate protection against external influences, making the entire structure maximally resistant to moisture and weather conditions.
