Road Bitumen Emulsion

Road bitumen emulsion is a dark brown liquid mixture based on bitumen or polymer-bitumen binder, water, emulsifier, acid, or alkali.

Bitumen emulsion is widely used in road construction due to its flexible range of properties and advantages over petroleum road bitumen:

- High fluidity ensures effective filling of small pores and cracks.

- The chemical composition of the emulsifier provides enhanced adhesion to mineral materials.

- The properties of bitumen emulsions allow mixtures to be applied even on damp surfaces.

- Production technology and the ability to adjust the ratio of main components and chemical additives make it possible to produce emulsions suitable for complex individual tasks.

- No need to maintain high mixture temperatures during application, which saves material and labor resources.

- Low working temperatures reduce the risk of occupational injuries for workers on site.

Transportation and Storage

Transportation and storage conditions are considered individually upon customer request, as road bitumen emulsion is used before asphalt concrete paving. Operating temperature range: from -5 °C to +45 °C.
