A profiled drainage membrane is available in two types: a single-layer high-density polyethylene (HDPE) cloth and a double-layer thermally bonded geotextile cloth. The layers are thermally connected to each other. The surface profile of the soil membrane is set by molded cone-shaped protrusions 8.5 mm high.
