Hydroizol Osnova is a bitumen-based roll waterproofing material. Hydroizol Osnova is manufactured by applying a bitumen-polymer compound to both sides of a glass-fibre mat base. The compound consists of bitumen, a polymer modifier and a mineral filler. Polymer films with distinctive markings are used as the upper and lower protective layers. The material's key distinguishing feature is its high adhesion performance.
Purpose
Hydroizol Osnova is designed for the installation of multi-layer (usually two-layer) waterproofing systems on concrete foundation surfaces pre-treated with bitumen-based materials. It is also suitable for waterproofing underground parts of buildings and structures that are in direct contact with the soil.
The material protects concrete surfaces against soil moisture, groundwater and water vapour rising from the ground.
Storage
Material rolls must be stored vertically in a dry, enclosed area, in a single row in height, at a distance of at least 1 m from heating appliances.
Transportation
The material may be transported by all types of transport in covered vehicles, in accordance with the cargo transportation regulations applicable to the relevant mode of transport.
